The SEAEC is a caring extension of your family vet. We are designed to provide the finest and most progressive medical and surgical emergency services for your pet. We are open 24 hours a day 365 days a year so you can always contact us when your vet closes in the evening, on weekends and holidays, to ensure your pet can receive care at any time. We are also available for overnight referrals of patients requiring advanced 24 hour monitoring and care in our intensive care unit.

Our entire staff are devoted to providing a caring environment that treats people and animals with dignity, kindness and respect. We specialize and are highly experienced in emergency services and critical care and regularly attend to any type of small animal emergencies including trauma, toxin exposure, surgical and medical crisis. Our staff also continually receives advanced training specific to emergency practices and procedures to ensure your pet gets the best possible care. Our work is our passion, and we work to improve the health of our patients with individualized attention and quality care.

Compassionate Care - That's Why We're Here
The SEAEC now has close to 100 veterinarians in the outer South-Eastern region of Melbourne referring after hour cases to our clinic. When you call your veterinarian after hours, the call may be diverted to us or you may get a message directing your enquiry to us. Our Veterinarians work closely with your vet, sharing information as part of a team of professionals to provide optimal care for seriously injured or sick animals. We provide full written reports, x-rays and pathology results that may be performed for all patients.
